A side character in Dark Air. John is named after John Ro Myung, a Korean American bassist known for being one of the founders of the progressive metal band Dream Theater.
Appearance[]
John take on the appearance of an Asian youth with black hair and black eyes. He has an androgynous look and is seen wearing something like a black school uniform.
Personality[]
Like Mustain, he is aloof and is very much a playboy. But unlike Mustang, he has a subtle way of showing his aloof nature.
Weapons/Abilities[]
- Defense Buffer: John can buff the defense of a person to increase their toughness and durability. Along side Dio's unlimited amplifier, he can buff David to the point of having steel skin.
- Guitar: John uses a guitar to buff his teammates defense. He can also use defensive skill that can block enemy's range attacks.
Story[]
John first appear in Chapter 1 with the rest of team Metal Maul when Mustain brought along a beautiful girl as he stroll through town. After witnessing Shenando's fight against Team Chopper, John is wonder whether the boy that Mustain is protecting the same boy that they're hunting.
